Updates
Resolved
This incident is now resolved. All StayUpfront services have been running normally since checks were re-enabled this morning, with no further problems. The disruption was caused by emergency security maintenance at our hosting provider, Fly.io, which restarted servers across its whole platform overnight. Thanks again for your patience.
Monitoring
Good morning. Fly.io has finished its platform-wide maintenance, and we've checked everything over and re-enabled monitoring checks. Everything is running normally again. We'll keep a close eye on things for a while before closing this incident. Thanks for your patience overnight.
Identified
Our hosting provider, Fly.io, has been carrying out emergency maintenance across its whole platform to patch a critical security vulnerability, which meant restarting every host. Over 90% of hosts are now back up, and the rest should be done in the next few hours. We're being deliberately cautious, so we're keeping monitoring checks paused overnight. That way we won't send you false alerts while the platform settles. We'll check everything thoroughly first thing in the morning (UK time) before turning checks back on, and we'll post another update here when we do. Thanks for bearing with us.
Identified

Due to the ongoing issues with our provider, I have temporarily paused all monitoring to prevent accidental alerts being triggered. I hope to resume the checks as soon as possible.

Monitoring

It looks like our web hosting provider (fly.io) has experienced a global outage. They have not yet communicated the cause of this issue, and while the site is back up it may be unreliable for the next hour or so.

As the web checks remained running, this may have triggered automated alerts (phone calls, SMS). Apologies if you received these, only to find your site running normally and then being unable to access StayUpfront to see what was going on.

Resolved
Automatically resolved: all monitors for this incident have recovered.
Investigating Critical
